Jay graduated from McGill University in 2017 and from the University of Leeds Law School in 2020 with practical legal experience in Banking & Finance, Project Financing, Cybersecurity & Data Privacy, Alternative Dispute Resolution & Litigation, Corporate Dispute Resolution, and Residential Conveyancing at a variety of boutique and large-sized firms. While at Leeds, Jay competed and placed in the final round of numerous negotiation and mooting competitions, including one at the regional level, represented his peers at Student-Staff Forums as a course-representative, and assisted in co-founding ‘Protego,’ a start-up aimed at reducing the COVID-19 transmission rate.

Jay’s practice area interests include business law, commercial transactions, Corporate dealings and disputes, and more recently, Cannabis Law & Business Development. Legal Tech and emerging technologies are also very important to Jay as he is very interested in global market trends and the impact of the current technological revolution within the legal sphere.
